Alan and Sally Keiran
Founders of Dunamis International Ministries

During his career as a Navy Chaplain, Alan supervised hundreds of clergy from many faith groups. Most were spiritually fit, but a significant number were weary, disappointed, burned-out, or struggling in their marriages. Alan encouraged them to seek counseling, go on spiritual renewal retreats, and practice daily spiritual disciplines to reestablish their commitment to the Lord, their families, and ministry.

In November 2004 the Lord placed the Keiran’s 10 year-long dream of providing retreats and conferences for clergy and their spouses in the heart of a local businessman who urged them to incorporate as a 501(C) 3 non-profit ministry. Non-profit status was granted in June 2005. Since then the Dunamis team has been sponsoring retreats for front-line Christian workers and their spouses.

We pray that the Lord provides the opportunities and resources to facilitate many more retreats and conferences for our fellow clergy to be renewed, refreshed, and restored to spiritually vibrant lives, marriages, and ministry.
